Rare Laboratory Centrifuge in Working Condition. Germany, 1930's-40's

This amazing desk piece is a manual laboratory centrifuge, in good condition and made in Germany in the 1930s-40s. The centrifuge works perfectly and can be perfectly used to process preparations in test tubes. The machine boasts an undeniable beauty and a great charm, and comes dismantled in its original wooden case. This centrifuge preserves all its original component parts and pieces and comes with a number of glass test tubes. All the pieces are in good condition and make up a very interesting item for collectors. The centrifuge mounts a main red-lacquered cast-iron body. The red finish remains quite well preserved and practically covers the whole metal surface. It only shows slight signs of wear at the base and the corners. This detail increases its antique charm and speaks for its authenticity. The main body comes with a central supporting piece designed to hold the silvery-metal sleeves where the test tubes are inserted. The parts fit perfectly and make it possible to operate the centrifuge in an easy way. Once dismantled, this evocative machine can be stored in its original wooden case. Inside the cover there is a paper label with instructions typed in German.
