Antique Scales, Ppios. S. XX

This delicate piece is an antique scale, small and functional, made in the early 20th century. The scale stands out for its fine making and decorative details; it is the ideal piece to decorate a showcase, a coffee table, a sideboard or a special corner. It has a cast-iron base with a lacquered finish that combines different colors: dark brownish red, orange and golden. The base is molded and has four small corner legs shaped like scallops. At the top of the base we can see the word FORGE in embossed letters. The iron beam is perfectly balance and supports two brass pans in very good condition. In the center, the pointer indicates the moment when both pans are balanced by locating its red-enameled point in the middle of a fine golden filigree iron detail. This lovely antique scale, a delicate and exclusiva piece, is perfect to decorate a charming corner or create an original still life. Measurements: Width: 11.4 in / 29 cm. Height: 4.7 in / 12 cm.
