This is a fine mantel clock and candelabra set. The three pieces are made of bronze and remain in good condition. The clock works perfectly: it has 8-day Paris movement and chimes the hours and the halves. The movement has been fully fine-tuned in order to guarantee a perfect performance. The candelabra are complete and keep all their lights and arms: in general, this set is a highly decorative item with a remarkable sober elegance. The mantel clock is shaped like a small temple and stand on four curved legs. The embossed decoration that embellishes the bronze box is composed of abstract and symmetrical detail in a neo-renaissance style. The bottom part of the box is adorned with embossed medals and the corners bear straight curved-ended rods that provide the article with style and lightness. The clock is crowned by a shamrock-shaped filigree piece, accompanied by different moldings and volutes. The clocks face is made of bronze with black Roman numbers enameled on inlaid individual white plates. At the back of the clock we find a door that let us reach the movement. We can see the serial number 2009 engraved in the metal. The clock is accompanied by two twin candelabra, also made of golden bronze and with similar aesthetic and decoration. They have four lights each (a higher central one and three lower ones around it) and a solid square base with a central vase-shaped piece standing on it. This piece has two handles shaped like symmetrical marine monsters. The set of lights stands just over vases mouth. Its aristocratic look and classic design turn this mantel set into a stylish article. Measurements: Width: 16.1 in/24 cm. Height: 9.4 in/41 cm. Candelabra: With: 7.8 in/20 cm. Height: 15.5 in/39.5 cm.
