Bronze mantel clock with candelabra. 1885

French mantel clock in bronze with 5-light candelabra garnish. The clock has side decorations of faunus masks. The machinery is of the Paris type with 8 days of winding and mute, without chiming. It tells the hours and half hours perfectly. It has been overhauled by a master watchmaker who is an expert in Paris machinery and keeps perfect time. It is signed by the watchmaker H. Riondet of Paris and dated 1885. All of this watchmaker's pieces were dated with the year of manufacture on the movement, below the logo. The clock measures 38 cms high, 22 cms wide and 13 cms deep. The matching candlesticks are the originals and are complete with their candle snuffers. They measure 43 cms high, 8 cms wide at the base and 8 cms deep.
