Fantastic Mantle clockr fireplace from France, made of gilt bronze and porcelain plates dating from the second half of the nineteenth century. The machinery is on Parisien style and lasts 8 days working, it chimes every half an hour as well as in the oclock hours. It is in perfect working order, and includes its pendulum and key. It is accompanied by two three-lighted candelabra made of the same materials. Its optical appearance is splendid and its working is completely reliable. The base is polygonal and has ornamental motifs that come to reflect a tribute to nature typical of Romanticism. On the top there are ornaments that pay attention to a couple of sparrows. Similarly, the sides of the box that keeps the face of the clock are decorated with bucolic-musical sculptures such as instruments surrounded by vegetation. The Sevres porcelain plates show different coloured flowers, also different in each of the candelabra. The face of the clock is made of Sevres porcelain, with mixed numbers, Roman and Arabic, Roman for the hours and Arabic for the minute hand which is enameled in blue. The hands are on Louis XVI style, it comes protected, as well as the machinery, by glassy door paths. The machine works perfectly and it chimes the hours and the halves. It comes contrasted by "G. Schmoll, Paris " and the mention of Medaille D'Argent. Vincent & Cie. 1855. " This represents a guarantee of quality. It comes with pendulum and key. Dimensions: 32 cm. (High), 10.5 cm. (D), 20.5 cm.
