Fantastic and rare French mantle clock made at the end of the XIX cent., between 1855 and 1875 topped with the famous statue of Myron, the Discobolus, and with a marble base with bronze ornaments. The dial is made of porcelain and decorated with hand painted floral motifs, and is in perfect conditions. The frontal glass original, as well as the rear one. The Paris movement is in perfect working condition and the clock works perfectly, keeping the time also perfectly. The clock strikes every hour and half hours and it is signed by the famous movement maker of the era Vicent & Cie and was awarded a silver medal in 1855. The size of the clock is important. It measures 61 cm in height and 21 cm in diameter at the base (23,8 x 8,2 inches). This clock is a very rare beauty.
