Marble and bronze mantel clock. Taps. 1900

Antique mantle clock mantle in gray marble and bronze with decoration of gryphons. The marble is in very good condition and the bronze appliqués have an extraordinary sharpness. The central piece measured 43 cm wide, 33 cm in height and 20 cm deep (16.8 x 12.9 x 7.8 inches). The clock gives the time perfectly. It has a 8 days Paris movement that strikes every hour and half hour. The dial is made of porcelain, has Arabic numerals and is immaculate, without hairs cracks or chips. The movement is signed by the famous movement maker of the era AD Mougin, and was awarded with two medals. The mantelpiece ornaments are also made of gray marble and decorated gryphons and sphinxes. Both are in perfect condition. They measure 48 cm in height, 17 cm wide and 14 cm deep (18.7 x 6.6 x 5.5 inches).
