Spectacular French pendulum clock with cherubs. XIX Century

Precious French mantel clock in perfect working order. Art Noveau style, it is dated between 1870 and 1890. It gives the hours and half hours. The design is magnificent. It represents cherubs among the clouds. There is little I can say about it that the photographs do not show. In this case, a picture says more than a thousand words. Absolutely everything is original. The machinery is of the Paris 8 days winding type and has its key and pendulum. It has been overhauled by a Paris watch expert and will keep time for another 100 years. The front glass is original and beveled. The dial is hand decorated porcelain with floral motifs. It measures 47 cm high, 23 cm wide and 16 cm deep. Each candlestick measures 45 cms in height, and 12 by 13 cms at the base.
