Spectacular French pendulum clock. 63 cms high. 1870

Beautiful French mantel clock in perfect working condition. Art Noveau style, it is dated around 1870. It measures 63 cms (height), 34 cms (width) and 24 cms (depth). It gives the hours and half hours. The figure is an allegory of Neptune creating the horse and is the work of the famous French sculptor Emile Louis Picault, very quoted in auction houses around the world. Absolutely everything is original. The machinery is of the type Paris 8 days winding and has its key and pendulum. It has been overhauled by a Paris watch expert and will keep time for another 100 years. Pendulum and key included.
