The set is made of solid walnut wood with lovely copper details adorning a great part of its surface. Both the wood and the metal are well preserved, with no visible flaws and keeping all their original parts. The set is greatly elegant and attention-drawing thanks to its stylish design.The clock boasts harmonious proportions that create a balanced design. The walnut wood shows off all its beauty with the classic golden brown color that characterizes it, and a warm satin glow that enhances its great looks. The item stands on a molded base and the box is adorned by four columns carved in the corners and a nice top. The embossed copper details make a fine contrast with the woods brown color and cover a great part of the clock. Among them, the face with its black Roman number and the side sheets stand out. These sheets bear a classic embossed decoration with a fauns face at the top and a slim vase at the bottom.The movement was made in France and is in optimal condition. There is an inscription engraved in the metal: the words E.P. DEPOSÉ into an oval. Just under this logo we can see the serial number 5497. The clock comes with a pair of matching twin candlesticks made of the same wood and metal and boasting a classical, sober and elegant design. Both candlesticks are perfectly preserved and are the perfect complement for the clock.
