This great precision scale, quite singular and in an impeccable condition, is a scientific instrument used to weigh products contained in test tubes and flask. It is a scale for balancing centrifuges made for the Spanish market in the 1950s. The scale is in amazing condition and almost brand new, stored in its original grey cardboard box. The box bears a blue rectangular stamp that reads BALANZA para CENTRIFUGA, meaning Scale for Centrifuge in Spanish. Inside we find a white sheet with the instruments handling instructions, printed in Spanish and English. The scale is dismantled and each component part is conveniently wrapped in tissue or brown paper. They are made of chrome-plated metal and have survived to our days in excellent condition. The metal looks shiny and polished, with no traces of rust or wear. The base is a plywood plank covered by a white melamine sheet, also wonderfully preserved. The scale is in an amazing working order, being a precise and sensitive instrument. This striking lab scale is a very interesting piece worthy of an elegant study or a good collection of scientific antiques. Measurements: Width: 10.58 in / 27 cm. Height: 12.6 in / 33 cm.
