This beautiful precision scale, as delicate as reliable, is a Spanish design made in the 1930s. In spite of its ancient age the scale is in excellent condition and works like new. It is so precise and sensitive that it can be used to weigh even a cigarette paper. The scale is made of golden brass with silvery metal pans and brackets. Both metals are in very good condition, with no traces of rust or flaws. The beam bears the engraved name and logo of the manufacturing company, J. COBOS A., a Spanish company located in Barcelona that manufactures precision weighing instruments since 1908.The scale stands on a black-lacquered wooden plank: the surface of this lovely finish looks shiny and polished, with an intense glow that reflects the instrument that stands on it. It is supported by four metal leveling feet that help the user level the scale for its correct manipulation. With its nice design and impressive precision, this scale is a collectors piece with a great decorative power. Measurements: Width: 17.21 in / 44 cm. Height: 15.23 in / 39 cm.
