Fine Set of Precision Balance Weights on Mahogany Base. Spain, 1930's

Great golden brass weigh set designed to be used with precision or pharmacy scales. The set is small in size and this turns it into a very delicate item. It is composed of nine golden brass weighs stored in a solid wooden stand, with blind holes drilled at the top bound to store each piece. The weighs bear engraved numbers that rank from 100gr to only 1gr for the smallest piece. The metal looks even, with no dents or visible flaws; it boasts a nice patina due to the trace of time and use. The stand where the weighs are stored is made from a solid mahogany wooden block. It is in good condition and boasts a deep reddish brown color, enhanced by the attractive black veneer typical of mahogany wood.
