Precision Balance Scale, Early. S. XX

Fine precision or pharmacy scale in its original glass windbreak, accompanied by a complete weigh and micro-weigh set and in excellent condition. The scale was manufactured in Central Europe, it is made of gold brass and is quite well preserved. The brass preserves the original transparent lacquer and the mechanism works fine. The scale stands on a solid wooden base, with a nice light color and in good condition; it is protected by a windbreak made up of wooden laths and glass panels, all of them original from the time. In front of the scale, screwed to the wooden base we can see a metal plate with the manufacturers name: HERMANN STEINBUCH WIEN, BUDAPEST, WARSAW Fabrike chem. pharm. apparate. The weigh set comes in its original case and is complete: the weighs rank from the 1-gram piece to the 100-gram one and there is also a small compartment with micro-weighs, protected by a delicate glass lid with a metal knob. Because of its ancient age and attractive optical impression, this striking precision scale is a highly decorative item with an undeniable authenticity.
