Precious Precision Balance in very good condition. Germany, 1st Third S. XX

Delicately designed and quite ancient, this beautiful precision scale is a very special piece worthy of the best collection. This model comes from Germany, where it was manufactured in the early 20th century. The scale draws our attention because of the design of the beam and the central pillar, both made of brass. Their shapes are directly related with the modernist style, with wavy and curved lines that create an elegant symmetry. The pillar bears a black-lacquered finish and makes a nice contrast with the golden surface of the pans and the beam. At the pillars base there is a screwed plate with the following inscription: Bayern Waagenbau Werkstatt Munchen (Bayern Scale Manufacturing Workshop Munich). At the beams center we can also see a fine monogram engraved in the metal. The scale stands on a solid oak wooden base with a dark finish and a sticker with data and serial numbers. Last but not least, this scale is also a remarkable piece because of its excellent working order and its precision.
