AVERYL antique and delicate gilded metal balance, made circa 1900. This is a completely genuine piece with all its original parts. The balance itself sits on a rectangular wooden base, which has a large drawer with gilded metal front knob. When opening the drawer we discover a department lined with green velvet, where to guard the weights and other objects, to prevent them from getting lost. The balance is supported on the central longitudinal support characteristic of this model, in whose upper part we find a balance axis that facilitates the movement of the balance. The two upper horizontal arms support a triple chain attached to the two small concave pans on which the weights and the goods are placed and, by means of a system of counterweights, the central part will mark the exact weight. On the front of the arms we find the type of balance: class B, and the maximum weight it accepts: 3 oz. The piece is in good condition, attached some weights, and although it lacks the central needle, it is a very decorative object.Beautiful and decorative scale that will give a very special touch to the room where it is placed.Measures: 40,6 x 27 cm.
