Great case with dental instruments made around 1900. The instrumental is into a big wooden box, beautifully handcrafted with dovetail joints and sober rectangular shape. The case has three detachable trays, also made of wood, each one full of different metal instruments designed for dental practice. The charm of this kit of instruments is highlighted by the fact that there is no instrument lacking, showing a complete set in quite good condition. The trays have different utensils with a great variety of medical thongs, specially scissor-shaped ones. We can also see several extraction and cutting instruments, as well as mirrors and other utensils. Some of the items are made of two different kinds of metal: nickel-plated and gilded, and some of them show rests of paper stickers. A delicate syringe in glass and metal goes with the rest of the instruments, and all of them talk about the old times of medical practice. The box containing the instruments is in good condition, with some scratches that can be easily restored. Inside, the cover keeps part of a paper label in which we can read the letters PRO and a number, 2, strongly written with a ball pen. They are all details that tell us about the use and the life of this curious dental case, a real find destined to shine in the most special and exclusive collection. Case measurements: 440 mm width x 415 mm high.
