Great collection of medicine bottles made of glass in three different colors. It dates from the first half of the 20th century. The collection is composed of almost one hundred of empty glass bottles, accompanied by nearly one thousand labels with the English names and characteristics of different pharmacological products. The bottles are in good condition and some still preserve the original labels and hand-written inscriptions. As well as glass bottles, the collection also includes test tubes and devices to prepare medicines, as well as a lovely big glass and metal bottle with a metal cover. The bottles are made of glass: some of them are colorless while other ones are amber-colored, and the rest show a nice dark green tone. There are also some round boxes designed to grind roots and plants, and a beautiful glass mortar with its pestle. The bottles and accessories are full of the ancient pharmacies vintage charm, and make up a very special and unique collection. The big collection of labels that comes with the bottles is also very interesting. All of them are in very good condition, and their elegant presence (with different designs, fine letters and great decorative motives) joins with the interesting texts. Both the labels and the bottles come from England, and the inscriptions are written in English. Among the different products we find fascinating names: cod liver oil, syrup of figs, cream of tartar, castor oil Names with speak of old times, when the pharmacy was nearly alchemy. This magnificent collection will surely delight any lover of vintage pharmacy-related items, and will stand out in the most special showcase.
