Antique ophthalmic surgery set in its original leather case, made in the early 20th century (circa 1900) and in good condition. The case contains a series of metal tools, some of them (the scalpels) with baquelite handles. One of the tools is not original from the set but it dates back from the same period. The set includes two additional pieces that complete the different uses of the tools. We can see scissors, clamps, tweezers, a knife and a pack of needles. The case where these tools are stored is well preserved too, with fine leather covering outside and bright blue velvet lining inside.As attractive as interesting, this antique ophthalmic surgery set in leather case will fascinate every lover of ancient medicine-related pieces.
