Antique Precision Balance Scale, Circa 1910

This fine antique precision scale, in very good condition and properly balanced, is an ancient piece made in the early 20th century (circa 1910). The scale is made of golden brass and stands on a solid mahogany wooden base, very well preserved too. The base contains a drawer with a complete weigh set, original from the period and with some micro-weighs (small metal plates weighing less than a gram). In the wooden base we can see marks from different inspections that guarantee that the weighs were not loaded. The scales beam bears the initials C.T. and the number 1009 engraved in the metal. The delicacy and precision shown off by this amazing antique scale turn it into a wonderful piece with a strong decorative power. Measurements: Width: 32 cm. Height: 32 cm.
