Antique Precision Laboratory Balance. Germany, 1960s

Charming precision scale for laboratory use, made in Germany in the 1960s and with all its original component parts and pieces. This is a precise and quality instrument that can be entirely dismantled in order to store the parts in the drawer. The scale comes with a complete accessory set including five delicate silvery-metal pieces, metal hooks, curved rods and different sizes of hanging wires for the pans. The scales base is a hollow solid-oak wooden case with a drawer. It is in good condition though the top is somewhat worn due to the trace of time and use. Close to the front border we can see a metal plate with a black-painted engraved inscription with the manufacturing companys name and city of location: Bender & Hobein Munchen-Karlsruhe. This gorgeous antique precision scale for laboratory use is a real collectors piece, perfect to shine in a showcase with old time items or to decorate a piece of furniture.
