Amazing set of 5 antique hand-blown opaline glass pharmacy bottles, made in Spain circa 1940 and in very good condition. The bottles are hand blown and each one is a unique piece, as delicate as gorgeous. Their capacity is 550 ml. They are so unique and different that each lid can only be inserted in the mouth of its respective bottle. The material they are made of is hand-blown opaline glass, an opalescent glass whose white color with bluish shades reminds us of the semipretious stone. The manufacture of opaline started in France in the 19th century, inspired in the Venetian lattimo glass (milk glass) and the English white glass. This is a delicate and beautiful material, perfect to make refined quality pieces such as these striking bottles.
