Beautiful couple of antique porcelain pharmacy vases made in Spain circa 1900-1930. The vases come from a pharmacy in Seville and are finely preserved. We can appreciate a small dent at one of the lids border, but this is a scarcely relevant detail which goes quite unnoticed. Though being so fragile, both pieces are in good condition and boast their stylish look in all its glory. They are made of fine white porcelain and bear hand-painted labels with black, red and golden frames and black capital letters. One of the vases shows the inscription SASAFR., while at the other we can read UNG. MERC. DUPL. At the vases top edge and close to the lids borders there is a hand-painted golden decorative band, somewhat worn but still visible. Last but not least, if we turn the vases upside down we can see the furnaces mark (a slightly brownish shade which marks artisanal porcelain pieces). There are similar marks at the vases and the lids borders. This fine couple of antique porcelain pharmacy vases is ideal to decorate a shelf, an elegant pharmacy or a study.
