Superb couple of antique porcelain pharmacy vases, made in Spain circa 1900-1930 and very well preserved. These vases show off a classic and stylish design, which a nice hand-painted decoration only makes more attractive. The only flaw that we can distinguish is a small dent located at one of the lids edge. It is an almost unnoticeable detail which can be easily hidden by turning the lid so the flaw is hidden at the back of the vase. This way, it will not interfere with the items good look. The hand-painted labels stand out powerfully on the white background. They are painted at the front; the abbreviations are located inside square frames made up of red, black and golden bands. At the top of each base and also at the lids we can see more golden brands which match the vases decoration. The inscriptions read: ALOES SUCCOTRIN. and VERATR. SABADILL. Finally, if we turn the vases upside down we will find the furnaces mark: a brownish shade created by the firing process. This mark can also be seen at the lids and is typical of handmade ceramic and porcelain pieces. This elegant couple of antique porcelain pharmacy vases, finely preserved and original from the early 20th century, is perfect as an exclusive decorative item. Dimensions: Width: 4.9 in / 12.5 cm.
