Antique Ophthalmologic-Surgery Tool Set. Circa 1900

Amazing antique ophthalmologic-surgery tool set, made circa 1900 and in very good condition. The country of origin where cit ould have been made this attractive set of surgical tools is believed that could have been England, or more probably France. The tools are made of steel and bear natural material handles, finely preserved. The original tool set, which we can see orderly stored in the box, is complete; sawn to the inner side of the lid there is a rubber band with more pieces (tweezers, suture needles), some of which are missing. The storing case is made of solid mahogany wood and remains in good condition. The corners show delicate dovetail joints which reinforce the structure and provide the design with a fine touch. The wood is finely preserved and only shows some signs of the trace of time and the use, logical is such an antique article.
