Large professional microscope with 3 lenses. Very large. Its maximum extension is 41 cms high. Manufactured by the American house Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. at the end of the XIX century. On the opposite leg it bears the signature of the house that sold it and on the heel the serial number 38444. All lenses are signed by the maker and the operation is smooth and precise, including the diaphragm to allow more or less light to enter. The lacquer is the original. There is some dirt, but I didn't want to touch it to respect the lacquer. The patent date is February 16, 1897, so the age of the piece would be 1897 to about 1905.
