This instrument is an R&J Beck brass microscope in original condition. Fully extended, the microscope stands 385 mm high,serial no. Is 21325. The lacquer is original and bright, the condition being commensurate with age and use.The rack and pinion focus is firm and smooth,as is the fine focus.The double sided mirror is bright on both the plano and convex surfaces and the swing and height adjustments are positive. Both clips are present,and there is one eye piece and two objectives(no engraved marks).The iris is fully functional.
