Magnificent Steindorff microscope produced in their Berlin factory between 1910 and 1920. Its presence is impressive and in great state of preservation and working order. Both the brass metal surface and the elegant black enamel are in fantastic condition and present a very attractive shiny finish. The microscope shows little evidence of use. Its main cylinder is engraved with the serial number 45167. It has three lenses with the respective inscriptions: 3=10x, 7=60x and 1/12=110x. These do not show any deterioration, nor the slightest trace of fungus on their surface. The set comes with four scopes with different inscriptions indicating the characteristics of each of the lenses: 2x, 8x 3, 4 10x, 5 14x. The working surface is in very good condition, with only one of the two metal clamps used for holding the preparations remaining. The light reflecting mirror shows both flat and concave surfaces in excellent condition, with a perfect surface, no loss of silver coating and no scratches. The wooden box for its transport is the original and is in very good condition, keeping all the drawers to house the various utensils. The dimensions of the fully extended microscope are: 39.5 cm (height), 12 cm (width), 14.5 cm (depth).
