Antique portable microscope with accessories, made circa 1900 and with its original storing case. Both the microscope and the box are in good condition; the microscope works fine too and can be used to watch samples. It is made of brass and preserves all its original component parts and pieces. The metal is well preserved; the foot, though, keeps some remains of the original green enameled finish which once protected and enhanced this item. The storing case is made of solid mahogany wood; inside it has a series of fixed wooden pieces which help maintain the microscope in its place and carry it safely. With the instrument comes a set of accessories and samples, including old-time tweezers, perfect to complement it.
