Antique Rosenbaum Mod. IV microscope made in Germany circa 1920 and finely preserved. Though being nearly one century old, this beautiful instrument has survived to our days in great condition and fine working order. It includes a set of 2 objectives and 2 eyepieces, all of them original from the time; the whole set comes in a great-looking wooden box. The microscope shows a simple but functional design, with black-lacquered metal horseshoe foot and brass component parts, protected by the original transparent lacquer and in fine condition. The rack-and-pinion system is in perfect working order and moves smoothly. The wooden box where the instrument and the accessories are stored is original from the time and remains in amazing condition. It is built with delicate and solid dovetail joints; inside we find a paper sheet signed by the manufacturer with information about the eyepieces and the objectives. Every fan of old-time scientific instruments will love this antique Rosenbaum Mod. IV microscope, amazingly preserved and in its original storing case. Dimensions: Width: 3.74 in / 9.5 cm.
