Availability date:
Outstanding gala shoulder pads for infantry officers from the time of the Spanish king Alphonse 13th, circa 1915, in very good condition and worthy of a military museum. The epaulettes are manufactured with a thick golden silk cord, twisted in the shape of symmetrical fine-looking design on a red fabric rectangular piece. The twisted design shows a complex and attractive shape, which together with the contrast between the two colors makes up a singular and beautiful set. Under the red fabric piece there are two leather stripes with metal attachments, used to connect the epaulettes to the uniform. At the curved end of each epaulette we can see a gilt metal button with the Spanish coat of arms and the word INFANTERÍA (Infantry). These gala epaulettes or shoulder pads for infantry officers from the time of king Alphonse 13th are an authentic set of clear historic interest.
