Antique British-pilots flight helmet which was used during World War II. The helmet is dated in 1941 and comes from England. It is entirely made of leather, and though it does show clear signs of the trace of time and use it is a truly original piece and preserves most of its parts. At the sides we can see reparation seams made by hand during the war period. The strap under the chin is missing, but the rear adjustment strap is preserved. The top seams are in very good condition and serve to shape the helmet. This article comes with an included head-shaped stand. Printed on the inner leather lining we can see the manufacturers mark with the inscription 1941 MADE BY WAREINGS LTD (NORTHAMPTON) ST. JAMES STREET Nº 2. For its original quality, historic past and fascinating aesthetic, this antique pilots flight helmet used during World War II deserves an honor place in the best collection of war antiques.
