Vintage organ from the beginning of the 20th century, made in 1900. This is a more evolved model which has come to our days in perfect condition and working order. The solid wooden box, square in shape and with elegant turned pillars in each corner, is black-lacquered. The lacquer has been fully restored and shows a deep black color and a warmth glow. The organ works perfectly and can play 14-note tunes just like new, providing an excellent sound. This model is somewhat evolved if we compare it to similar former organs. The first mechanisms reeds (which are operated by the disks in order to play the tunes) used to clatter on the metal disks making a persistent sound which accompanied the music. But this model has three brackets which separate the disks from the reeds, so these cannot clatter on the metal. This way, the music comes out clearly and fluidly with no other sound to disturb the listener. The brackets, the beautiful engraved reproducer and the shield-shaped plated through which the reeds come out are made of polished brass, all of them in excellent condition. The organ also keeps the original crank to wind up the mechanism. The sound that this charming vintage instrument provides is of good quality, and it comes with four original metal disks which can be reproduced with the organ. Its magnificent condition and working order, together with its aesthetical attractive, are reasons enough to consider this organ a first-class musical antique, worthy of the best collection. Measurements: Organ: 430 mm width x 290 mm height. Disks: 265 mm diameter.
