Antique 24-note Ariston roller organ - organette with perfect sound quality and 14 tunes, dated circa 1890 and in amazing condition. The organ is in great working order, providing a high and neat sound that will delight every lover of music-related antiques. The roller organs box is made of black-lacquered solid wood. Square-shaped and sturdy, it has four turned columns: one at each corner. The columns extend under the box, creating four small legs. The black-lacquered finish is finely preserved, looking even and with a lovely satin glow. The restoration work has preserved the patina created by the trace of time, a feature that provides the organ with interest and charm. Both the sides and the upper part of the box are decorated with gold drawings: on one of them we can also see the name of the brand, Ariston, also in gold color. The roller organ comes with 14 cardboard disks, each one with an ancient tune. The disks are in perfect condition and sound really fine: the tunes bear titles in different languages such as Spanish and German: La Tempestad, Sobre las olas (The Tempest and Over the waves in Spanish). They are the perfect complement for this nostalgic and evocative Ariston roller organ, a really special item. Its charming sound and old-time aesthetic turn this antique Ariston roller organ into a collectors piece, perfect to shine in any dining room. Measurements: Side 16 in / 40 cm. Height: 9.6 in / 24 cm.
