Magnificent Gilded Brass Spyglass, Very Well Preserved. Germany, Circa 1900

This singular piece, perfect for every lover of historic and ship antiques, is a German spyglass made in the early 20th century. This item is more than one hundred years old and has remained in good condition, with all its component parts and lenses very well preserved. It is a five-bodied design; all of the parts are made of golden brass, with the main bodies covered in black leather. The brass is in good condition and the surface only shows a slight wear, due to the trace of time and use. The spyglass comes with the original brass lid designed to protect the objective. The eyepiece shows the word Germany clearly engraved in the metal. All the instruments bodies can be fluidly unfolded and the spyglass can still be used to watch far away objects.
