Beautiful Four Bodies Glass in Excellent Condition. XIX-XX Century

Stunning antique four-pipe spyglass made of golden brass and in very good condition. This fine device preserves the original lenses and eyepiece, and can still be used to watch far-away objects. It is composed of four telescopic pipes or bodies that can be folded and stored inside the main cylinder. This piece is covered by a black leather piece whose surface boasts a stylish decoration of small engraved diamonds. The leather is in good condition and only shows slight signs of wear, logical in a piece more than one hundred years old. The spyglass comes with two chromed-metal caps designed to protect the eyepiece and the lens when the item is not in use. The metal looks shiny and polished, very well preserved. On the other hand, the golden brass the spyglass is made of preserves the original patina and boasts a nice distressed look that provides this piece with a very singular charm.
