Beautiful antique spyglass in very good condition. Late 19th Century

This wonderful spyglass is an ancient piece that has survived to our days in quite good condition. The spyglass preserves all its original parts and lenses, and can be perfectly used to watch far-away objects. Its unmistakable nautical style provides it with a very special charm and turns it into a very decorative piece. It is composed of four telescopic pipes or bodies, three of which can be hidden inside the main one. This element is a hollow cylinder made of solid wood and golden brass; the wood bears a great mahogany finish, in good condition and original from the era. The lens is located at the end of the cylinder and is protected by the original brass cap. The rest of the pipes are made of this same metal; it keeps the original transparent lacquer and is in good condition, embellished by the fine patina that the trace of time has left on its surface.
