This awesome five-bodied telescope is a very special piece because of its big size and good condition: once unfolded the article is more than 36 inches long. It is original from the 1930s and is a really functional and decorative piece. The telescope is made of golden brass the metal is very well preserved and maintains the original transparent lacquer. Its surface is free of rust and flaws, showing off the beautiful patina that the trace of time has left on the device. It also keeps the original eyepiece and lens. Both the main body and the eyepiece are covered by real reddish brown leather in very good condition. Attached to the main bodys coating we can see a leather strap, designed to carry the telescope. Its other end is sewn to one of the two leather caps that make up the telescopes case. Powerfully decorative and still fully functional, this amazing telescope will be the best gift for a lover of ship antiques. Measurements: Width: 2.5 in / 6.5 cm. Unfolded: 36.8 in / 93.5 cm. Folded: 13.7 in / 31 cm.
