Original antique brass binoculars in amazing condition and more than one century old. This item comes from Genoa, Italy and is dated in 1890. The excellent working order showed by the binoculars is a really remarkable feature, as they make it possible to perfectly watch and focus faraway objects. The piece is signed by MICHELE MULTEDO GENOA; we can see this inscription in the eyepieces, in clear embossed capital letters. The central part of the binoculars is made of lean brass, with no visible traces of rust or wear and preserving the original transparent lacquered finish that provides the metal the lovely patina typical of antique brass pieces. The rest of the component parts, except for the eyepieces border, are painted black; this finish is in good condition and its dark color makes a great contrast with the shiny brass. Every lover of charming antiques will appreciate these fine antique binoculars, a piece that has gained personality over time. Measurements: 5.90-7.09 in / 15-18 cm.
