This singular antique brass telescope is an original piece with four bodies and medium length (almost 60 cm). The telescope is dated in the 19th century and was very probably manufactured in England. It is fully made of brass and preserves the original lenses. They are in perfect condition so the telescope works perfectly and makes it possible to watch objects and landscapes located at a certain distance. As well as being a functional piece, this telescope is also a remarkably elegant and discreet item. The brass it is made of remains in excellent condition and keeps the original transparent lacquered finish that provides its surface with a warm antique patina. The telescope also preserves the leather covering that protects the telescopes main body, the one that mounts the objective and stores the rest of the bodies when folded. The leather is of a fine shiny black color and shows no torn or worn parts; it preserves the original seams too. The telescope comes with the original brass lid that protects the objective when the device is not in use. Delicate and stately, this amazing antique telescope will stand out in an elegant study or cabinet for its authenticity and style. Measurements: Folded: 8.27 in / 21 cm. Unfolded: 23.43 in / 59.5 cm.
