Antique binoculars made in the early 20th century (circa 1910) and in very good working order. This piece is made of brass and comes with its original brown leather case. The binoculars are made of brass with a black-enameled finish; the enamel is clearly worn for the trace of time and the use, so today only certain parts of the brass casing preserve the black finish. Nevertheless, this worn out effect is quite attractive and provides the binocular with an antique and charming patina. The lenses are in good condition; they have some dust particles but still provide a clear and neat vision. The storing case shows clearly the ravages of time and heavy use, but it is still complete and preserves the original hinges and fasteners. It is still the perfect accessory to keep the binoculars in good condition. As antique as authentic, these binoculars for military use will stand out in a good collection or as part of the equipment of a nature lover. Measurements: Width: 4.40 in / 11.2 cm.
