This curious and awesome tool is an antique Fullers spiral cylindrical slide rule in its original solid wooden box and with all its component parts and pieces. The rule is model 1 and comes from England, where it was made in 1935 by Stanley. The rule that we can see in the images preserves the original brass outside fitting that makes it possible to attach it to the box so it can be easily manipulated. It is composed of two cylinders: the inner one does not move and the outer one moves vertically and rotates around the other. The rule makes it possible to perform arithmetic operations and calculate sines and logarithms, as indicated by the inscription engraved in one of the brass pointers: FULLER CALCULATOR WITH SCALE OF SINES & LOGS. There is another engraved inscription with the number 6726 35. This piece comes with an original instruction booklet, complete and in very good condition. The storing box is made of solid mahogany wood, just like the rules handle; inside we can see a sticker with the brand name Stanley, wonderfully preserved. The wood is also in great condition. Riveted to one of the boxs sides we can see an oval brass plate with the inscription P. 1317 B.A.C. engraved in the metal. As curious as functional, this antique Fullers slide rule will stand out in a showcase containing the best technical and commercial antiques. Measurements: Box: Width: 17.71 in / 45 cm.
