Antique Omnium III Folding Stereoscope. France, 1925

Amazing and rare antique Omnium III foldable stereoscope, made in France in 1925 and in excellent condition. This is an entirely original design, very attractive and that can still be perfectly used to view 6x13 plates. The stereoscope is composed of a black plastic double eyepiece, a removable black-lacquered wooden handle and a silvery-metal plate stage. All the component parts and pieces remain in great condition; the metal, the plastic and the wood show no signs of wear, rust etc. The stereoscope comes in its original old-time casing, a stylish box outside covered by red faux leather. The lid bears the inscription Stéréoscope Onmium III - EN FRANCE ET A LETRANGER printed in gorgeous golden lettering. Inside the box is covered by red velvet, in great condition too. As elegant and authentic, this rare antique Omnium III foldable stereoscope in its original old-time case will shine in a collection of charismatic antiques.
