Spectacular large antique spyglass (81 cm long) with original parasol, magnificently preserved and dated 19th century. The spyglass is in a really impressive state of preservation; moreover, the optics are in good condition and allow to enjoy a clear and sharp view of objects and landscapes located in the distance. This item has a strong decorative potential due to its beautiful and simple design and its age (more than 120 years old). It consists of four bodies and is accompanied by a brass parasol, perfect for using the spyglass without fear of glare. The brass of which it is made retains the original transparent protective lacquer of the antique, which gives it the warm and patinated tone characteristic of antique pieces. The main body retains the original dark leather lining, also in excellent condition. Lovers of nautical and scientific antiques will appreciate the beauty and functionality of this spectacular large antique spyglass, a fantastic piece worthy of the best exhibition.
