Antique Brass Spyglass. 57 cm. Circa 1900

Fine antique brass spyglass 57 cm long, made circa 1900 and in good working order. The spyglass is well preserved and can be perfectly used to watch faraway objects or places. It preserves the original lenses in good condition and the bodies slide smoothly and can be easily folded and unfolded. It is composed of 4 brass bodies; the main one includes the objective and hides the rest when the instrument is folded. This body is partially covered in black natural leather in order to make the grip easier and more comfortable. The leather is in good condition and so is the brass; the metal keeps the original transparent protecting lacquer, which provides the device with a beautiful and warm antique patina.
