Antique everyday sash for infantry generals, made and used during the reign of the Spanish king Alphonse 13th and in striking condition. This garment is stored in its original case, a discreet and stylish cardboard box with an outer black fabric covering. The case is also in fine condition, and together with the sash it makes up an amazing antique military item. The sash is red and has a white lining. It is pleated in a series of regular horizontal pleats which provide it with strength and flexibility. The front side shows a set of embroidered leaves in gray and white shades. The garment preserves the original golden metal belt. The white lining shows the embroidered signature of the workshop where the sash was manufactured: Celada - Mayor 31, Madrid. The case is also marked with a red stamp, containing the inscription EFECTOS MILITARES CELADA. This antique everyday sash for infantry generals, made in the era of king Alphonse 13th, is a singular garment with great historic interest and in exceptional condition.
