Antique shoulder pads for infantry officers, original from the time of the Spanish king Alphonse 13th, circa 1915, and in good condition. These epaulettes were part of the gala uniform worn by infantry officers of the Spanish army, during the reign of the monarch. The ones which can be seen in the images are tailored in a thick golden cord, twisted and shaped in fine symmetrical design. The cord is attached to a red fabric band, probably felt. Underneath, each epaulette has a black leather strip with a metal hook to attach the piece to the uniform. At the end of the golden cords we can see gold-metal buttons with the Spanish coat of arms and the word INFANTERÍA (infantry). These antique shoulder pads for infantry officers will stand out in the best collection of historic antiques.
