Burl wood system walking stick made in 1910 that hides inside a foldable camera tripod. This stick is an exclusive piece, worthy of the best collection and in excellent condition. All its parts and components are original and the tripod can be used like the first day. The stick is made of light solid wood, with curved handle and pole composed of two assembled hollow pieces that hide the metal components. These pieces are made of solid burl wood, whose nice light tone is embellished by the intricate honey-colored motives that make up its fine veneer. If we remove the handle we will find the top of the metal tripod that hides into the hollow wooden tube. In this place we can see the manufacturers monogram, composed of two Rs with a drawing depicting a walking stick between them. Just below there is an embossed inscription that reads JAKI D.R.P. The tripod can be completely unfolded to hold a camera fixed at its top. When folded, it can be easily introduced into the slim wooden pole. The tripod displays two different heights. The tripod itself can locate the camera at a medium height; connecting the shortest leg to the wooden pole and unfolding the two remaining legs we get a higher tripod. In order to do that, the wooden pole has a brass nozzle at its top that can be perfectly screwed to the end of tripods shortest leg. So this piece is a really functional item for any lover of photography. The walking sticks end is trimmed by a bone piece, decorative and solid. This wonderful walking stick is a real find because of its rarity, beauty and functionality. Any lover of rare and special antiques will appreciate it as it deserves.Measurements: Tripod (Total Height): 105 cm/41 in. - cámera is not included
