Folding Binoculars in Original Box. 1970's. 20th Century

Gorgeous folding binoculars made in the 1970s, in excellent condition and perfect working order. This is a very charming piece, with an attractive design that is still quite beautiful in spite of the trace of time. The binoculars are made of chrome-plated metal and are covered by dark brown leather. Their small size and straight design reminds us of the shape of a liquor hipflask. The lenses appear when the user opens the case; in order to do this, he or she will have to operate the rear hinges. Between the lenses we can see an inscription with the magnification number (2,5X25 MM), while between the eyepieces there is another inscription: Sport Glass 2,5X MADE IN JAPAN. The binoculars come in their original cardboard box, decorated with a fine print depicting an ancient town. The box is also wonderfully preserved.Measurements (Closed): Width: 4.3 in / 11 cm.
