Stunning antique cigar humidor made in France and in excellent condition. This is a beautiful antique made in the 19th century, in the time of Napoleon III. The humidor is made of solid wood covered by fine noble wooden veneers following the frisage technique (a combination of wood veneer that create diamond designs). The cover and the front side are decorated with a fine brass marquetry design embedded in the wood. The humidor has been fully restored by a professional and looks as gorgeous as when it was originally made. This small piece of furniture contains several grooved trays designed to store the cigars perfectly organized. At the bottom there is a small drawer where a recipient with water can be put in order to keep the cigars in perfect condition, preventing their drying. The humidors base and its back side are made of solid mahogany wood, with a great golden reddish color and an impressive decorative beauty. The cover, the front side and the side panels are covered with the combination of veneers stated before. The front side is attached to the cover by two brass hinges: when the user lifts the cover the front side folds inside and reveals the trays with the cigars, so they can be easily removed. Each tray bears a small wooden knob, while the bottom drawer has a lovely flower-shaped brass knob that stands out on the deep red colored wood. Antique, aristocratic and elegant, this Frech humidor is the perfect piece of furniture to store cigars and decorate a classy room. Measurements:
